Here at Blithbury Reindeer Lodge we have approximately 50 to 60 cows that we put to the bull. For the months of September to November (Rutting Season) we split the cows into 3 groups and each group has a different bull. The baby calves are born in April/May. During the summer the reindeer chill out in their own compatible groups and put weight on in the summer ready for the Christmas and winter.
